You will be introduced to the panel which will consist of two officers from at least one grade higher than the job you are interviewing for. The panel will alternate asking questions and will write down more or less everything you say. You should read the NICS Core Competency Framework thoroughly before your interview, paying special attention to the sections relevant to the grade you are applying to. You should prepare answers in advance and learn them. Your answers should hit all of the positive points in the CCF. Use the STARR framework to craft your answers - situation, task, action, result, review. The questions will all be competency based and you will be told which competency you are being asked about before the question is asked.

Had to pass 3 online assessments in order to proceed to the interview stage. Interview conducted remotely. Being asked 4-5 questions based on the Northern Ireland Civil Service Competency Framework Level 2.
