Overall, the impression I got from this experience is that North Highland doesn’t pay well, and their HR is dubious and unprofessional in their efforts to mask that. It seems there’s a practice of hiding salaries from candidates in an effort to rope them along in an arduous interview process that includes take-home assessments and multiple hours worth of interviews with managers. I was met with nothing but condescension and bitterness when I suggested that I’d like to know the salary range for the role before investing time and effort into the interview process.
