I was contacted by a recruiter for this opportunity. We had a screening call which ended with something close to: "I'm truly impressed by your profile, I really want to keep you in the loop when I have an answer from the founders."
Then I got an email a week later saying they had no news yet but wanted to keep me in the loop, which I replied to.
Then again a week later I sent an email asking for news and never got a response. This was 6 months ago.
This doesn't say anything good about the culture. I believe that before talking about competitive salaries, you need to respect the people applying, especially when you reached out to them first.
Having had a really good experience with companies like Snowflake in terms of process and culture, this was nothing like it.
