I had an hour-long interview (easy to average questions) followed by almost two weeks of radio silence. Then, the team followed up with me and asked that I write a sample article of 800 words, which took me approx. 4 hours to complete. I received an email a few days later saying that the company chose to go with another candidate with no additional feedback. I sent two replies asking for more specific feedback/areas for personal improvement and have received no reply nearly two weeks later.
