Anna, the employment manager, asked some basic questions to test my knowledge of ESL and asked about why I wanted the job. Once the inital meeting was over and I was deemed a potential teacher there, I was sent to one of their locations to teach a sample class for 10 minutes. Then I was required to observe otehr teachers for 5 hours in totoal, despite the fact I had previous experience.

The first interview was just a few questions about my experience and knowledge of grammar. The second part, on another day and different location was a demo lesson, which I prepared in about 15 minutes on site. Straightforward process.

I emailed my (unsolicited) resume to the branch director. After speaking with her on the phone, she forwarded my details to HR for screening and a formal interview. Once I met with the HR manager, I filled out the application, went over the resume with her, she made copies of all my credentials (you must bring the originals), and I was asked to observe teachers at my local branch for a couple of hours. Once all of that was concluded, I returned a second time to sign the dotted line. Everyone was very friendly the whole time. They are nice people.
