I applied online for a specific role, the recruiter reached out to me for a screening. I then met via video with the hiring manager. Afterward, I did not hear anything for quite a while. I followed up with the recruiter and he informed me they thought I'd be a better candidate for a different role. I then met with the hiring manager for the new role in a different group. From that conversation it was clear there was a lack of communication internally about my potential candidacy. They ghosted me after four interviews even though each interview seemed to go well and the hiring managers gave every indication that I would be moving forward to the next step.
