It was a two-stage process. I first had a one-on-one interview with the incumbent, whom I was going to replace. This was quite friendly and did not prepare me in any way for what was about to come. I was then interviewed by a group of six people, all at once. This was quite a 'grueling' experience which I fortunately managed to overcome.
