I've applied online after I've got a call from two different Recruiter and then attended a initial meeting with Recruiter from UK office. from that meeting i've invited to meet Head of Engineering ! I have provided a challenge after that meeting without setting any standard or expectation or anything which might be related to the position they have advertised "SRE, Build Engineer". I've spend couple of hours to implement the basics and mentioned to them this is not a solution but only a basic layer and if you want to comment i'll add more. The way i got feedback on my application afterward was so disappointing and it shows the culture inside the company ! I'll share it here for other to see what is shameful !
