The process started out with a phone interview with the hiring manager which was followed by a technical skype video interview conducted by the lead developer. Then I was called in for in person interview where I met with the CTO, the VP of Finance and the hiring manager. Was told that everyone on the team really liked me and so I was expecting a positive outcome. However, weeks later I got a call back informing me that the CEO decided to look for someone more experienced even though I was told time and again that this is a Junior role and they were looking for someone without much experience. From my experience, the CEO seems to be micromanaging every aspect of the company and there seems to be a lot of red tape. The people seemed nice but the upper management seems to be a pain to work for/with. Months later they still haven’t been able to fill the position. It seems like they don’t know what they actually want from a candidate.
