The process starts online but an extra effort of physically going into the location you want to work at and introducing oneself to general manager goes a long way. After that interview you will immediately be notified if you have the job or not. Of not do not get discouraged or hostile. Instead ask the manager want you could have done differently and ask for their advice. This can instantly change the managers mind and get you the job.
