Telephone interview with in-house recruiter. Recruiter initially asked me about the wrong job (there were two legal jobs open at the time; I applied for the one that suited my area of expertise, not the other), but we sorted that out quickly. I thought the conversation went very well, the recruiter said as much, and indicated that he would recommend me for the next round and they would be in touch soon. After that, I never heard another word. I was juggling offers at the time but was interested in the position at NI, but the recruiter never responded to my several email and phone messages asking for an update. It was a dissatisfying end to what seemed like a great potential opportunity.
