Phone screening followed by a simple take home assignment designed to be completed in a 4 hour time-box. Completed the assignment but was rejected for pedantic reasons like linting errors, not having tests (in a take home assignment!), banal edge cases in the requirements. The assignment is available on GitHub if you'd like to look before applying. I've wasted a lot of time on 4 hour take-homes but this was on another level.
