Entretien
Pretty straight forward. Asked if I had any questions and went over resume. Went over the schedule of what will happen before I go over if I should get accepted (COE, etc)
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
They asked me to attempt a short practice English lesson with the recruiter as the student.

The interview process was really strange. They dont really have many questions to ask about you. They do a short role play which involes the interviewer (native english speaker) imitating a student who has beginner level English. The subject was we were supposed to introduce ourselves and I was supposed to make the introduction as simple as possible. The issue apparently was when I explained to the "student" that we will introduce each other. "I will learn a little bit about you and I will tell you a little bit about me" which was supposedly too high level for a beginner.

I applied to NOVA through gaijinpot.com. I know it’s an easy way to get a visa sponsorship and start working quickly. This process was unbelievably fast. I was contacted and offered an interview within a few days. They asked me to provide scanned proof of my passport and university degree. The interview itself was more like an information session. I read the website and other online sources beforehand and had taken notes so it felt as though I was just relearning everything from the recruiter. I was asked only a few questions. Other than that, I sat and listened patiently to the interviewer. I had the opportunity to ask a few questions about the information along the way.
I was offered a position the next day. NOVA sent me a contract, health form, more information about the position and asked me to fill out and return the items to Osaka by post so that they could start applying for my Certificate of Eligibility. They keep you updated throughout the process.
