J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez NHS en nov. 2022
Entretien
I applied online, it took them about 3 weeks to get back to me about whether or not I had been offered the interview. The interview then took place a following 12 days later. The process wasn't too difficult; it was my first time going to an interview for an MLA job and I took it as experience. One thing I didn't account for was researching about the specific departments within the department I was applying for and I was a bit out of practice regarding SOP procedures so I would make sure to revise that. The interview process however, is very clinical and scripted thus, it feel less personable which is to be expected.

Question 1
1- What are the NHS core values? 2- What other departments are there within pathology? 3- Why are SOP procedures so important? 4- Give an example of when you worked in a team

a 20-30 minute interview in front of a panel, followed by a 15-minute practical test. The interview focused on health & safety and confidentiality (GDPR). Make sure you research GDPR and the various risks associated with the lab (Biological, chemical, and physical). So make sure you become familiar with how to prevent breaches of data and risks (SOPs, COSHH, PPE). Do some research on how the lab operates and your duties, as they may ask you about this. They also ask you how to ensure a team works well together. The practical test included arranging blocks in numerical order, accounting for alphabetical suffixes (e.g., if numbers are identical, A group precedes B, and B group precedes C). If you prepare well and do some research beforehand, it should go smoothly.

I had a panel interview with 2 members (one was department lead), the questions were quite easy and main interviewer was nice. Lasted about 20 minutes followed by a tour of the lab. Heard back after a week
