Really quick phone interview a few days after applying, very easy questions. I was invited in for an assessment with one other girl that week - had to tidy the stock floor and notice things that were out of place e.g. clothes in the wrong size order. Also had to approach customers and ask if they needed any help, everyone usually says no anyway. I got given a £10 gift card at the end of the assessment which was really kind!
Within 5 days I received a phone call saying I got the job, which I wasn’t expecting since I felt like my “look” didn’t really fit the NEXT aesthetic.

Easy, casual chat, was asked basic questions, got shown around the shop, and was given an induction on how to complete various tasks as well as how to clock-in and clock-out etc.

Short telephone interview - informal chat to discuss availability and previous experience, which lasted about 15 minutes. Then brought in and shown round the store and the stock rooms, and fill out any paperwork.

Got a phone call to discuss application and to confirm that I was able to do the dates that were stated on the application form then I was invited to come in store to have an interview/in store assessment on a particular date.
