J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory
Entretien
JPL came to my college and conducted interviews. There was an engineer and recruiter that conducted the interview with me. They asked mostly standard questions (why do you want to work here, etc) and several technical questions which I thought were not phrased well and so I was mostly confused. I spoke to several other people who were interviewed and their questions seemed more straightforward. I wound up not getting the job but that was ok.

Question 1
Let's say you have a spacecraft on an interplanetary trajectory. It has a boom on it which is supporting a mass at the tip. How would you design the boom to be lighter, but without changing the cross-section?
