A standard conversation with the hiring manager followed by a basic tech screen. Then it got weird. Three rounds of technical interviews with questions about system design, streaming data, and even microservices. Only one question involved modeling and it was embarrassingly poorly thought out. This place obviously has no idea about what a data scientist does.
