I was interview by 2 scientist, they asked about my availability and my undergrad classes and then then on my second interview there were 2 other girls that were working in their PhD and they really inspired me. Everybody was very nice and helpful.

HR screening followed by a Zoom call with a PI. The call was relaxed and we just talked about my prior experience and what the lab was about. During the call, an in-person interview was scheduled. However, day of the interview, I emailed to reconfirm the time, but did not get a response. I called the PI to make sure, and was told that I'll be contacted later to reschedule. Then, the next day I received an automated email from HR saying that they would not be moving forward with me. It was unprofessional and I felt that they did not respect me as a candidate or my time, which was unfortunate considering I had a genuine interest in that lab.
