      Entretien

I was originally called by the HR Coordinator to set up a phone interview. I interviewed on Monday with the HR Manager and answered the standard HR questions about my background and why I was interested in the position and company. There really wasn't anything out of the ordinary about this interview. On Friday they called to, invite me to come in for an in person interview the following Monday. This interview was an all afternoon affair. It consisted of 5-30 minute interviews with people directly connected to the position but from different departments. This was a very casual process, and for the most part everyone asked standard interview questions. This series gave you a solid feel for who you would be working for and how everyone is tied together. On Friday I received another call and was invited to come back in on Monday for another series of 5-30 minute interviews with executive management. All of them were very casual and still asked the standard questions. Nothing really out of the ordinary, but everyone was very friendly. This gave you a solid feel for where the company is coming from at a high level which I though was very beneficial. On Friday I received a call back from the HR Manager who detailed the offer for the position. One thing that was unusual was that in the entire process I had never discussed targeted salary or current salary, so I'm not sure what the offer was based on. Since the offer was significantly lower than expected, I raised concerns and attempted to negotiate something more reasonable. After a 5 day wait, they came back with the same offer and a reasonable relocation package as their "final" offer.
