I interviewed with the art lead then had a call with the CEO. The interview was casual and it seems like they didn't have a set of questions prepared beforehand. The hiring process is unreasonably long and they take weeks to respond which was very unprofessional and felt like they didn't take hiring seriously. keep in mind that I didn't apply for this role, they reached out to me first. The salary they offered is about average/below average compared to other studios of the same size. Work/life balance is not a priority at Moon, during the first interview, I was directly told I wouldn't have time to work on personal projects if I joined the studio, which is consistent with the reviews here.
