(Applied: at Money Forward Vietnam Status: reject the offer number) One of the worst interview processes I have ever experienced!!!! From the very beginning, I clearly stated my expected salary and emphasized on this. Despite this, I was invited to multiple interview rounds with repeated assurances that the job title could be adjusted and that the compensation would be updated accordingly. While I'm doing interviews, the HR representative also tried to negotiate compensation across two different positions between rounds, asking questions such as, “If we evaluate you as senior, would that be okay?”—despite already knowing that the senior role could not meet my stated salary expectations and put me in dilemma. When we finally reached the salary negotiation stage, I was presented with an offer that was far below my stated expectations. After an additional negotiation round (they suggested a better number but not finally), I unexpectedly received a final offer that was even lower than the initial one! This felt extremely disrespectful and came across as an attempt to “save face” at the insult of the candidate. I say NO. In the end, I lost more than three hours in a process that should have been stopped at the very beginning. This experience showed a lack of transparency, respect, and consideration for the candidate’s time. I'm feel extremely lucky for not joining this company.
