I was called by a recruiter to complete a phone screening, during which she asked if I would be comfortable accepting a same day offer. I said if everything went well it was a possibility; but that I was not able to give her an answer that time. That same day I met with another team member and completed an interview that went very well. I spoke with the recruiter and scheduled a second (and final interview) with another member from the team for that following week. After the final interview, the recruiter asked how it went and how I felt about the role. She asked "what had changed" when I told her that it went well, but I would not be able to accept an offer immediately--should I even be presented with one--because I was interviewing with other companies and wanted to keep my options open. I never heard back from the recruiter nor the company after this final interview and conversation with the recruiter.
