I had a very disappointing interview experience with Mohawk. The interview was scheduled for 8:00 AM, which required me to make a two-hour drive from Atlanta. When I arrived, HR was not even present or prepared for my arrival. The interview process itself lasted around four hours, which is a significant time commitment for any candidate. After investing the travel time, preparation, and half a day onsite, I never received any follow-up or response after the interview. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. I understand that companies may decide to move forward with other candidates, but a basic follow-up after such a lengthy onsite interview should be standard. The lack of communication made the process feel like a waste of time and left a very negative impression of the company’s hiring process.

The interview consisted of interviewing five department heads, each asking questions about their oversight. There was an initial and final briefing with the company's head of design. The interview ended by saying they would follow up in the coming weeks.
