The initial conversation with the CTO was just a behavioral interview on how you would fit in with the team. CTO was incredibly personable and seemed genuinely passionate about the product. Next was an interview with one of their full-stack devs. As I was asking for hints to the coding problem and talking through my ideas, he keep acknowledging each of them to be correct which was obviously unhelpful. Would’ve been been nice if he was just honest about whether I was doing the problem correctly or if I was totally off. Looking back I'm not even sure what his true intentions were. Anyways, got a rejection email a few days later saying they wanted someone "more experienced." Sure... because HackerRank/LeetCode problems are indicative of how much more experienced you are. *sarcasm*
