I recently interviewed for a Senior Fullstack .NET/Angular Software Engineer role at Mitratech, and my experience was disappointing. The first round was conducted by an HR representative who shared a long, three-paragraph technical question in the Teams chat and asked me to answer it while she recorded the session to share with the technical team.
As a professional with 7+ years of experience, I found this approach highly unprofessional. Instead of a meaningful discussion or interactive Q&A, I was expected to answer complex technical questions in isolation, with no opportunity for clarification or dialogue. Moreover, having HR conduct a technical assessment without any technical expertise was frustrating and a waste of time.
Companies should respect candidates' time and ensure that technical rounds are handled by qualified technical interviewers. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Mitratech’s interview process to experienced professionals.
