Recruiter reached me because they said my profile is very good. After talking with the tech recruiter which was very nice and good I found out that my experience is very related, similar tech stack, I had some experience with the challenges they have and their upcoming projects, have very related experience, both me and the recruiter was positive. Then it gets to the coding challenge, the question was very leetcody, when i saw the question I recognized the algorithm we can solve it. but I told them last time I did that was like 4 years ago, and I don’t remember the algorithm and said if I faced that I would just google the algorithm, and the interview was very bad as I was surprised and very not motivated to continue, I even didnt start coding until 10 minutes before the end. i don’t know the reason of such questions, how is that relative to my experience and even their current challenge as a company. instead of asking me questions about their stack, tools or architecture which is very similar to what I know!!! I really was not excited about the company anyway specially they have policy to work from office 3 days and they don’t support fully remote working, despite that their product specially for remote working (ironic). But I am more furious about these type of interviews which just some companies try to copy FANG process without even understanding!
