The interview process was great! The process consists of three interviews; phone interview with the recruiter, in person interview with sales supervisor, and in person interview with hiring manager. The phone interview is basically to see if you are qualified for the position. The second interview is basically testing your sales abilities and knowledge of the company. The final interview is to see how you align with the company's core values and If you would be a good match for the position based on the companies culture.

Question 1
Teach me something that you enjoy. How does this activity portray to sales?
Thanks for your review and thoroughness! Sales is one of those departments that puts candidates through 'testing' to see if you are the right fit. Sales is such a unique job with unique challenges so it's in our best interest to format interviews this way. Looks like you were a great match for us (and vice versa) so hopefully you are well into your job and loving it! Sales is such an exciting department to be in!

I was contacted by a recruiter and the conversation went very well! I asked for feedback and the recruiter said all positive things and that they would be in touch soon. They even sent me an email right after with information. But the recruiter never contacted me again. I reached out a couple of times, even explicitly asking if they could let me know if they had selected another candidate and was completely ghosted. This is beyond unprofessional of a company and disrespectful to the interviewee. Upset because I was excited for the position but if this is any indication of them as a company, I guess I dodged a bullet.

The interview process was pretty typical. It started off with a recruiter call, then met with 2 sales managers, and a final interview with the sales director. There's an aptitude and personality assessment, it's pretty easy if you take the time to study for it.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Mindbody (Atlanta, GA)

I interviewed with a MindBody recruiter over the phone. this was a very typical screening / interview where I was asked basic questions about myself, my career, and my goals. I was then invited for an in-person interview at their Atlanta office. This is where it got.... bad. I was asked to prepare a presentation and demo of their solution. Okay this is pretty typical for a Sales role, but I was not provided any materials to actually study and learn WHAT to present. I have never used their system or their app before, so I had no idea where to even begin. They suggested I look them up on YouTube. There were some very outdated videos on YouTube that enabled me to come up with enough material to present. I went into the in-person interview pretty excited. I arrived early but no one in the office had any idea who I was, why I was there, or who I was supposed to interview with, or what specific team I was interviewing for. I sat in the lobby for a bit while they scrambled to figure this out. Finally, I am led to a room to interview with one person in-person and one person dialed in through a conference line. Clearly neither of them were paying attention while the other person asked questions because they kept repeating one another. I could also blatantly see that they were scrolling and clicking around on their laptops while I was speaking - so rude. When it came time for the demo presentation, they said I only had about 5 minutes left before they had to run out. I had prepared a 20 minute presentation. Then I realized they didn't even have the presentation available for me to pull up on the screen. They said I should have brought my own laptop. WHAT?????!!! This was not explained to me beforehand, so I had to try and do the demo by memory. So so unprofessional.
