Got an email from one of the Principal Engineers to set-up an initial phone interview. The interview was about half an hour mixed with STAR behavioral and some technical questions related to MCU. After a week, got another email from HR for the entire day interview details with different engineers and managers of different teams back to back. It was a video interview due to COVID. All the interviewers were nice except the two in one of the rounds. They both were chief engineers and the interview was after lunch. I can see on their face that they were not interested in taking interviews. They literally yawned 5-6 times during 50 mins of the interview. Heard back from them within a week with feedback. Answered all most all the questions in detail. Interviewers were also impressed. But they told that my experience was not a good match even though it was exactly the same as they needed. Very disappointed after spending an entire day and that was also with perfect answers.
MCU peripherals. What is Timers? Different between SPI and UART. Different between SPI and I2C. What is Static? What is volatile? How to convert Do-While loop to the While loop? Given a circuit consisting of inverter and ADC module and asked a question from it. Given a faulted tool's schematic and told to give steps to repair it, consist of potentiometer and GPIIO ports.
2-3 circuits given by the different interviewers and told me to draw a graph for one of them, find the output voltage for one of the circuits,s and tell about the characteristic and behavior of that circuit.

Entretien
Multi-staged interview with multiple engineering groups. No real technical questions. Just spoke to experiences and how I would fit in their work culture. Personality questions seemed to be weighed more heavily.
