J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Milwaukee Tool en sept. 2020

      Entretien

I met Milwaukee Tool at the NSBE conference. I interviewed with the engineering team, very positive experience. I was told someone from HR will reach out to me a week later, but I had no response. So I reach out to the the engineer I had spoken with, and she tried her best to help me, and tells me you are still under consideration. In the meanwhile I also reached out to the VP of Human Resources. VP tells someone in HR to reach out to me(meanwhile I was clueless about this) HR personnel reaches out to me and sets up an interview and this is where it begins. First question, how did you get to know about MT, I say through NSBE and had interview opportunity. Everything blows up with that answer, She says you reached out to the VP, thats why this interview was setup. With a condescending tone, I was lectured into how I cannot reach out to the VP, further explaining me that the VP is like the President of the United States and you dont reach out to him/her(I was shocked by thi comment) Next question, so NSBE is like a college fair right? This position is not for college graduates this is a professional experience position(again condescending). To which I reply, NSBE is a college and professional caree fair, and I do have professional industry experience ( at this point I had realized this person had not taken a look at my resume because I have profesiional industrial experience on my resume). Next she says, I will have to get to the bottom of this, since you interviewed at NSBE with an engineer I dont want to be stepping on anyone' s shoes (which is understandable and a good culture as well)I will find out why they have not reached out to you, I think they are probaly not interested in you, (meanwhile the Engineer I was speaking with on the contrary was telling me how I scored really well in that interview). So now my interview is on hold and the HR is trying to figure what team I spoke with, and she wanted the notes about me (rather than talking with me or asking me any questions, she wanted to know what the other team was thinkiing about me) I still very patiently wait and allow her to do her job. An hour goes by, two hours go, I call her twice, no response, by the end of the day, she calls me saying that the other team rejected you for lack of FEA experience, (which I do have) and then I asked what about this interview you called for, she says most people are not here today on a Friday, so I cant proceed!!!! I think I had the worst possible interview experience ever, I have never in my life experienced such a behaviour that rather than finding my sternghts it felt like a deliberate attempt to sabotage the whole process. I spent the whole aftrenoon anxious and hopefull with a person who was trying to find negatives all along. I dont know the reason why she would do what she did today, with the pandemic things have been hard and I am without a job, I was asking for a job opportunity and not a handout. Maybe I am overthinking but maybe this person did not like the fact that I had reached out to the VP of Human Resources. I was just trying my best to get a job in this hard time which I
