J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez MidFirst Bank (New York, NY) en mai 2019

      Entretien

Process started out pretty normal- I applied, and was followed up on about a month later. I'm from Los Angeles, so I made the trip to be interviewed by the regional manager. That interview was exactly as you'd expect question wise- and I crushed it. It was a great interview that I was well prepared for. Fast forward about two weeks and the branch manager, who I had met in passing at the in-person interview, asked to do a facetime interview. That interview also went very well. Maybe another two weeks after that and the branch manager calls to say that they love me and the job is mine, they're just getting it approved and putting together an offer. The next day, the regional manager also calls me to tell me the same thing. Then, radio silence for about six weeks, besides the occasional text asking them if there's any news after three weeks. After the sixth week, I receive a call from the regional manager. She says that the "decision makers" dont think I can do the job, because I don't meet the number of years of service I require for the position, and offers me a lower title than the one I already have at a way lower hourly. I asked if they could at least match my pay and she said no. She also proceeded to tell me that I would need to stay in this lower position for at least a year before I could be considered for the position I already interviewed for! I declined this because I already felt like I had been bait-and-switched. I was so excited to work for this company because it seemed like the exact culture I wanted to grow in. But I don't understand why I would even get called for an interview, TWICE, AND get told the job is mine if they knew that there was an issue. Why would I want to accept a lower title and lower pay than my current job just to maybe get the job I already interviewed for??? Enter at your own risk. It's been nearly four months since this happened and the same branch and title I applied for remains unfilled.
