My hiring and interview process was fairly easy. I was in a pool of people and went in for an interview with a Fab manager. Most of us got jobs. One not very clean looking person who was reading a science fiction book and he did not get hired. This was for an operator position. My interview to be a technican I don't remember very well. I worked my butt off for a year to get hired as a tech. I took lots of classes and tried to learn everything I could.
