The recruiter came to Montana Tech and interviewed a lot of students in the computer science/software engineering department. The interviews were about 30 minutes long each. The things that stood out to the recruiter were side projects/research, database classes/ experience, GPA, knowledge of data structures

Question 1
What's the difference between arrays, linked lists, and trees and why would someone use one over the other?
They were friendly and made sure I knew the job contents. Not a big focus on technical interview questions. This was a good experience even though I was not selected.
I had a total of 5 interviews, they restarted the process after a hiring freeze and restructuring of the department. Everyone was professional, very kind, and you could tell they truly wanted to get to know you.
