      Entretien

TL;DR: I believe some of the job postings from Micro1 may be more focused on collecting training data for their AI systems than on filling real positions. I had two interview experiences with the company. The first time, I applied for a Senior Fullstack Engineer role. One thing that immediately stood out was how broad the job description was. Instead of focusing on a specific stack, it listed many unrelated technologies such as Java, Node.js, Rust, Python, and others. I applied anyway. After submitting my resume, I received an invitation to complete an AI-based interview. The process felt unusual, but I decided to continue. The next day, I received a rejection email. At that point, I started questioning whether the interview process was being used primarily to generate training data for their product. Later, I found another opportunity from the same company. The description was extremely similar to the first one, this time presented as a general Software Engineer opening. I applied, but I did not complete the AI interview stage. Shortly after, I received another email encouraging me to finish the process. In that message, they explicitly mentioned that candidates were being reviewed for active AI training projects. Based on these experiences, my personal impression is that some of these openings may function more as data collection pipelines than as traditional hiring processes. To be clear, I do not have an issue with the company or with AI products themselves. My concern is specifically about transparency. If the goal is to build datasets, benchmark candidates, or create a talent pool for future opportunities, I believe companies should communicate that clearly from the beginning, as many organizations already do. For that reason, I would recommend that candidates approach the process carefully and evaluate whether the time investment aligns with their expectations.
