The interview process itself was solid. Everyone was nice and the process was quick. I met with the President, the COO, and the Customer Service lead. However, the downslide is when I started the job I learned that politics, favoritism, cattiness and lack of effective communication does exist here to the point where it can disrupt the team environment and work being executed in a timely manner. People are petty on this team and I think it's due to lack of work experience. I regret leaving my original job for Metric Collective's FranchiseHelp, but happy to have found another position that better suited my work style, personality, and professional expectations. I suggest people interviewing for this role be cautious of the interview process. It can sound great in the interview but you learn on that job that what was said is vague. Ask questions about the Metric Collective culture in detail. They'll say it's great ---- but everyone in business knows, not every office culture is great! Ask them what they would have done differently in the past with the person in this role, or what improvements they're looking to make in terms of culture and work style. This will open the doors for candidates to see how the company approaches criticism or change in the workplace, or if they are fully convinced that they are flawless in terms of culture and communication style. This is a team that deflects a lot, so be cognizant of that when you ask them questions during the interview. I voluntarily resigned after three weeks and saw red flags in the first week.
