Unbeknownst to me, the FB recruiter set me up for an IC interview process. And when it became obvious that I was interviewing for the wrong position, the recruiter doubled down on his mistake. How do you consider a senior engineering leader with over 30+ years of experience for an IC role? It's beyond me. Lesson learned: confirm that the position you're interviewing for is aligned with your expectations.
