Lengthy process includes phone interview with recruiter, then a 45 min SQL assessment, 1 hr interview with hiring manager, 30 min interview with team lead and lastly 30 min interview with team mapping. Honestly not worth effort given the pay and politics

Entretien
First round: Technical test — I was asked to prepare slides for the Analytics Case Study of Merkle.
Second round: Technical interview with a Senior/Manager Data Lead. They asked more about the Data Engineer role, including pipelines, ML models, and some background questions.
After that, they made me wait for two weeks, only to inform me that the team had been restructured and that this role was temporarily on hold. This was a waste of time and felt unprofessional. Candidates should be aware of this situation, or they may end up wasting their time and effort like I did.
