J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Mercer (Toronto, ON) en oct. 2021
Entretien
Really great interviewers who went into detail about their role, Mercer and answered any questions I had. It felt as though they had already selected someone for the role but can't be sure.

Question 1
what's a time that you caught someone's mistake and how did you handle it? what are your hobbies, introduce yourself, most difficult and favourite part of your current role? why do you want to be an actuary?
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Mercer (Manchester, Angleterre) en mars 2017
Entretien
The process involved two interviews.
The first involved answering a range of questions about my background experience and some probing of my technical knowledge. The technical element was challenging but it was high level so isn't something to be worried about as long as you have a decent grasp of basic concepts and industry hot topics. It did however involve being put on the spot about various issues so it was helpful for this element that I had my own view on things rather than simply saying on the one hand, on the other etc.
The second interview consisted of a mock client scenario with a presentation element followed by a Q&A. The presentation element was prepared in advance on a topic of my choice. The Q&A was fair in that they asked reasonable questions given the scenario. The second interview finished with a general chat over lunch with the wider team.
As you'd expect everyone involved was professional and helpful throughout the process.
