The interview was very easy going. There are some really nice people there. Family atmosphere . The customer are really friendly. I think that Meijer is a great place to work.

I filled out the online app and received a call from someone the very next day. She said she was the bakery manager and asked me to come in and speak with her and see if I'd like the job. I came in the next day around three, under the impression I'd be discussing the job terms and then schedule and interview when it was an interview with someone else. For a job position I didn't apply for in the same location. The job I applied for was cake decorator, the interview and only open position I was told was bakery clerk. Which I didn't apply for and I was/ am already doing with another coma only and am looking to further my career not stay in the same place. I declined the interview further when the man interviewing me said they didn't even have the position open I wanted. I asked him not to waste my time and I left.
