Don't bother unless you're looking to waste 10 months of your time. Extremely slow. Disrespectful to the candidates time. It looks like they are only interviewing candidates to fulfill their interview requirements, and suspiciously their diversity requirements. You would think going above and beyond on the take home assignment would give them an understanding of your engineering skills, but apparently not. The hiring manager actually said "Yeah, I might have you work for free", when looking at the code submission. Also why would you have the candidate do a take home assignment and do white board coding on top of that? The take home assignment should be a sufficient example of their coding and software engineering skills. The CTO seemed disinterested and also in a rush, despite the interview being scheduled 2 months prior. It also looked like this was the 1st time he saw the candidate's resume, and had no knowledge of the candidate before entering the interview. Also hands down the worst HR recruitment process I've ever experienced. They never respond to your email, even if you have important questions about the upcoming interview . Also even if you've decided to not move forward with the candidate, the candidate still has invested time in your company, and you should notify them as soon as the decision is made so as to not waste their time. I have had faster and politer responses from companies like Google, Facebook and Amazon that have 1000s of candidates for each role. But MIC notifies candidates at an extremely slow manner, with obvious disregard of the candidate's investment. The position has also been up on their website for 2 years continuously, which suggests that MIC are not actually interested in hiring new employees. For an early stage startup that has all negative reviews on glassdoor, I would definitely not recommend.

Had two interviews there, I believe the recruiter said there is a four interview process. A little much in my opinion. The first interview went well the recruiter basically asked me about my experience and work history. I was scheduled for a follow-up but the hiring manager canceled at the last minute, (literally hour before the interview) and I had to follow up with the recruiter about scheduling the second interview because she forgot to send the email scheduling link. Get to the second interview it started out ok until he asked some abstract questions about algorithm optimization and big-0 notation. I guess if you want to work here you should know that, but not a good way to gauge the skills of candidates in my opinion. Anyways received an email literally an hour later saying I wasn't a good fit for the position.
