The initial phone contact and the interview with the H.R. Rep was very good. The office manager was another story. From the first moment she entered the room, I could tell she wanted to write me off. She asked very pointed questions that were extremely negative and aimed at undermining my confidence. She acted pleased if she thought she had succeeded in making me feel wrong-footed. However, the others involved in the process prevailed and I was hired.
