After I submitted my online application, it only took about 2 weeks for me to hear back from Maurices. We scheduled the interview. I sat down for my interview and started to question immediately whether or not I really wanted to work there. The farther into the interview I got, the less I was sure because of the way the employees were dressed. When the assistant manager (who was giving the interview) said that there was a 6 accessory minimum above the waist, I knew then that this was a superficial company that didn't really care how comfortable their employees were while at work. Some advice that I would offer to other candidates is make sure you are comfortable wearing 6 accessories every single day when you go into work, it is part of their dress code, and from the looks of it, the only rule they enforce.

In the back room, no styling a mannequin as seen sometimes, pretty average but some confusing questions, questions about experience, scheduling, pay, skills, how to resolve conflicts, your relationships with customers or coworkers , accomplishments, etc.
Interview was good. Basic questions. A couple questions about style like what is my favorite fashion trend at the moment. Overall an average interview. Other questions were about customer service.
In person interview ~40 min, was an average interview with normal questions. Got an offer the day of through a phone call later that day. Overall average interview process, start with phone call and ended with offer over the phone.
