Interview questions were average, asked about my experience in classrooms, teaching students grades 1-12, but then they gave me an IQ test which I was not expecting. maybe it's just me, but that was not an effective measure of how I would perform as a tutor.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
What is your experience teaching in a classroom setting?
They have you take a math test ranging from elementary to algebra II topics. If you pass, you will be scheduled for a 2nd interview where you will have some sort of “mock session” where they will see how you would tutor someone.
The interview process did not mention the exam that they administer so this was unexpected 2.5 hours live exam for a teenager who tried to get a part time job. He passed but the business ghosted him afterwards without any replies to follow ups. For a business that is centered around education is completely unacceptable behavior towards young people. The least you can do is to send 2 sentence email that the candidate did not make it especially when they passed your two hour test. They should not be allowed to teach young people with such approach to high school students during the interview process.
