Awful experience and a complete waste of time. I should have known things were going to get off to a bad start when the HR rep called me by a different name to start to call. I went through 3 rounds of interviews with the entire process taking over a month, the final phase being a 45-minute presentation and meeting with 8 different members of the team which they only gave me a few days to prepare for. I took off 4 days of work and had to neglect family needs just to accommodate this. I went above and beyond their asks and then just got silence for 2 weeks after. Finally, the HR rep asked to schedule an on-camera call a few days in advance. I thought maybe this would be an offer, instead, it was a quick 5-minute rejection. An email would have sufficed Mathworks. There was no need to drag out and string along an interview process if there was no intention to hire. From what I saw following up, I don't believe the company ever hired anyone for this role and I can't help but feel that they desired anything but a free info session with my expertise.

Interview process was pretty standard, interviewed with the hiring manager an some other employees in the marketing department. They all were very friendly and knowledgeable about the company. I felt very comfortable and was able to ask as many questions as I had.
