When I interviewed with Massage Envy it was a group interview but only one other person was there. First I had to fill out some paperwork and then went into a backroom with two general managers and the other applicant. They prefaced the interview by saying they were going to ask some silly questions but there is a method to the madness and it gauges the applicant's personality. The other applicant and I just took turns answering the questions and at the end of the interview the manager sent us a script to memorize. I came back in two days later and basically performed the script and was offered the job on the spot. As a word of advice, make sure to present yourself professionally both in the way you speak and dress.

Phone interview 1st. That went really well, so scheduled an in person interview. That went really well also and I got a job offer. Up to that point, communication was great. I was just waiting until the background check was completed, then they would give me my start date. After a few days from when I accepted the position and filled out my hiring paperwork online and still no word, I text the manager asking for an update. She did get back to me and said she'd been sick and said she would keep me updated and suggested some more online training stuff (that I could do while waiting or wait until I started). After that... nothing. They ghosted me. I waited a couple weeks- wanting to reach out but not wanting to bug them. Finally, I sent a text asking when my start date would be and she replied they didn't hear from me, so went another way. What??? So completely rude and unprofessional and just plain weird.
