I was interviewed by two members of the housekeeping team in a boardroom setting. I initially applied for a cleaning role but was suggested that I try out for room attendant instead as the hours were more flexible (I'm a student). Both interviewers were very polite and professional. The interview was fairly rigorous. I was asked about my previous cleaning experience and about ten questions in all. After the interview I was shown inside a hotel room, just to get an idea of the job. I went back for a work trial a few days later and was offered the job. I would say that the downsides were on the HR side; I was not told in the interview (or even after the offer) what the pay would be, my trial was a full day - which I felt to be long considering that a job offer at this point is not definite, nor what my working hours would be. The company seem like a fair place to work for though, so I don't have too many complaints!

standard interview with many questions. the company announced the results. took about 30 minutes. Very friendly and professional interview experience at Marriott for the Room Attendant position. Impressed by the recruiters' approach and career growth opportunities within the company.
