Entretien
The interview process took forever to kick off. However, it went super quick, during the holidays no less, once they started. They said they would make their decision on a certain day, however, I did not hear the outcome until two weeks later and I had to ask for an update.
I was verbally offered the position one day and I did ask for a signing bonus as the salary offered was less than I asked for and I would be walking away from a bonus at my current position, I did say me accepting would not be contingent on the bonus just that it would be nice. The whole offer phone call lasted a total of 3 minutes and felt exceedingly transactual with minimal warmth. The next day the offer was rescinded in a very cold manner - a 2 minute phone call where when I asked if I could please know why, I was just told we did not see eye to eye in the phone call the previous day and would not go into further detail. I am less than impressed with the director I originally interviewed with and had these phone calls with. While she may have the experience for the position from the events side, she does not have leadership or people management experience and it shows. The whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth and I cannot stress enough how unprofessional it has been overall.
I will say the recruiter that I worked with initially was amazing, and the only reason I have any amount of closure about this as I reached out to her to ask about it after it happened. She told me that, “It appears that they weren't able to match your counteroffer and decided not to continue with the process.” Which was more information than we did not see eye to eye.

They use behavioral STAR questions so the interviews can be challenging. you need to prepare 5-6 stories and expect them to ask 3-4. there will be time to ask questions as well. usually 3 rounds

I was contacted by email first, then a phone call that had the same questions as my application, then ghosted when I specifically asked them what the timeline and next steps were. They asked about my salary requirements 4 times and each time I gave them the same range, and each time they seemed hesitant.
