J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Marriott International (Santa Ana, CA) en mars 2015
Entretien
Had 2 interviews. One on campus, and one that they flew over 100 students to a Marriott location. All expenses paid for. I got accepted for the program, but they claimed I didn't have enough hotel experience, so they placed me in an internship related to the operation I was going into and had mentioned that they would be on the lookout for open hotels that will accept voyagers for the event management program.
Little did I know that there was no hotels looking for event voyagers, and my recruiter was not helpful in helping me look for positions, it's almost as if she wasn't even doing her job. Her job was to recruit and help voyagers, but she was no help to me. She encouraged me to find other position within the Marriott system, because apparently she couldn't help me. This entire voyage program almost seems like a scam, the recruiters do not care about you unless you want to do F&B or housekeeping.
I ended up leaving the Marriott property I was working at because I didn't want to work for a company that tells lies and makes false promises. I was promised that I got into the voyage program but after my internship ended they mentioned I had plans to start my voyager, but it's okay. I work at a wonderful resort where the employers do not lie to you. I won't ever work for a Marriott property again, so if you end up wanting to join the voyage program don't do it in events! Apparently the hotels don't have a "budget" for event voyagers.

J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. J'ai passé un entretien chez Marriott International (Calgary, AB)
Entretien
I participated in an online interview, a skills assessment test, a location preferences questionnaire, and another interview with the Director of HR and the HR Manager of the potential hotel where I might be assigned. The entire process took about a month, primarily because some of their emails ended up in my junk folder, causing delays in my responses. The recruitment team are very responsive and supportive of the entire process.
