They were super speedy and professional. Everyone I met did their homework about me and my background, asked super relevant questions and shared very candidly about themselves and the company. Including challenges and difficulties.

The interview process was a little bizarre. It was such a long process with so many odd experiences. MangoPay was (and still is) going through lots of change and the chaos is palpable with very interaction with them. Pros: - the recruiter was endearing and very honest - the CPO was a very likeable person - the role and concept sounded interesting Cons: - very long process (across 2 months with multiple rounds) - interviews were only ever with one person (the CPO) - the interviewer was 10-20 mins late to EVERY interview - he didn't show on one occasion without any communication or apology - recruiter and hiring manager had poor communication - often, I have to inform the recruiter of the next step or decision - for the last round, CPO was locked out of his house, taking Zoom call on his phone from his garden. At one point the audio connected to his wife's car when she returned home. He was very distracted and disengaged. - after weeks of back and forth with both the CPO and recruiter, and awaiting scheduling of "final interview", I was then ghosted for a couple of weeks before receiving a two line rejection email from the CPO.
