I was contacted by the HR of the company via my Linkedin. I was asked a couple of questions about my experience and got the interview in a few days. The interview was via skype. I was talking to HR and the president of the company. The president of the company didn't look professional at all and most of the time I was looking at his forehead. I was asked a few questions by HR, which was about 10-15 minutes long. The whole interview was around an hour-long, as I was listening to the monologue of the president about different technologies for about 45 minutes. I didn't get a clear definition of the product and the company. The president was jumping from one topic to another and it was really hard to concentrate. I had a second interview the day after and accepted the offer. Again I didn't get a clear definition of how the team works and what are my exact duties will be. I was told that I would start on Monday (my interview was on Thursday). On Friday I was told to start on Wednesday as they will be preparing the contract for me. The president got an idea to apply for the grant to accept new graduates (I graduated a few months ago). On Wednesday I was told to start next Monday. I got a contract on Tuesday. After reading it carefully I asked to edit some of my duties, as I would be applying for the pr in the future and it should be matching the government website. I was ignored for the week. I was writing every second day to HR and was only getting an answer they are trying to apply for the grant and about my co-op at university. I gave the contact of the dean of my program and was basically ignored for one more week. I was only getting a similar answer from HR. We were supposed to have a call with a President, but he didn't even show up. After 3 weeks of wasting my time, I got a message from HR, that the dates for the grant were changed and they will only apply next month. They can't offer me a job now and because of cybersecurity, they can't check my identity without a direct professor. 1. I googled the name of the grant and I couldn't find it at all. 2. They had contact with my professor and dean (who is the same person), but they only asked about co-op/grants from the university. 3. I was offered a job without any grants in the beginning and if the company has financial issues, why would it look for more employees. I would NOT recommend this company at all. Management has problems with not communicating effectively, not providing a clear direction/plan, and over-promising. On other hand, the HR was quite responsive and understanding.

A strange and awkward interview where the CEO rambled on about disjointed topics for over an hour. It felt like I was more invited there to listen to him talk about himself than I was to showcase my own skills. He only mentioned my work once but seemed as though he had already made his mind up. Unfortunately, the interviewer (the CEO) smelled and looked as though he had not put much effort into preparing himself for the interview. I felt uncomfortable and out of place.

Question 1
I do not remember any relevant questions that were asked about the job, but I do at least remember him asking me what I thought I should be paid.
