J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 7 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Magna International (Vaughan, ON) en juin 2023
Entretien
The interview process was great, however, the location I interviewed at in Woodbridge/Vaughan took a long time to get back. I received a phone call to interview and had my interview the next day. I was asked various HR questions (I listed some below) and spoke about my resume and experience with the Manufacturing Engineer I would work under.
I was told that I would be contacted for a facility tour if I was selected for a 2nd interview. I was contacted for a 2nd interview exactly 1 month later and it went very similar to the first. It was with another manufacturing engineer at a 2nd location which was close by. This time, I was only asked to speak about my resume and experience. The engineer then showed me the facility from the top floor and explained what I would be doing as an intern. After the engineer left, I was given an engineering test asking about various drafting/design topics.
About 2 weeks later, I was asked for references and given the offer about 1 week after. Overall, I would say the experience was great and the team seemed exciting to work with. Both interviews were face-to-face so be prepared to drive to the office. Some tips are to bring printed pictures to show the best highlights of your work experience if applicable and answer everything honestly. Don't be nervous and talk as if it is a normal conversation. Take time to think of a proper answer if you need to (you can ask for a few seconds to think before answering). Maintain good eye contact but don't stare so you come off as confident.
